Do I need insurance to rent a car from Select Elite?

The renter must provide proof of an active insurance policy. The policy must provide collision, comprehensive, and liability coverage that transfers to your rental. American Express offers “Premium Insurance” that can act as your primary insurance during your rental period.

Do I need to pay a rental deposit?

Yes, we require a security deposit. The current deposit amount is $1,000. Upon return of your rental, we will provide an onsite evaluation to check for damages, fuel level and cleanliness. Rental deposits are refundable less any additional charges. Please allow 5-7 business days to receive your refund.

Smoking and excessive speeding violations will be an automatic lost of your rental deposit.

What forms of payment does Select Elite accept?

We accept all major cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discovery, and American Express) and cash.

How many miles do I get with my rental?

Miles varies on the rental vehicle & is listed on the individual page. If you surpass those miles you will be charged a range of an additional $1.50-$2.50 per mile. These fees are applied when vehicles are returned and deducted from the deposit.

Is there a rental minimum?

Currently, there is no rental minimum.

What is your fuel policy?

Please use 93 Premium Gas and bring the vehicle back on full. Keep all receipts for proof or an $85 fee will be charged. The refueling charge for a rental will be $5/gallon if not returned at the same fuel level when picked up.
